The Journey Begins is the first of the several modules of the course, Inner Search in the Light of the Bhagavad Gita. Before one sets out to study the Bhagavad Gita, it helps to know the history and the symbolic significance of this teaching.
Ravi Ravindra starts with the seed question ‘Who am I?’ He tells us that the answer for such a question cannot come from our lower mind, as it cannot comprehend subtleties of the higher levels. He emphasizes the need for mythology, images and art to transmit these subtler aspects over the ages. He speaks of developing divine eyes to perceive higher realities and for refining the human instrument. He talks about consciousness and addresses the question of good and evil and the call to rise above the opposites.
